Beauty: Natural Aesthetic

Ladies, it's time to embrace the bare - or rather, get your lazy on and skip the morning make up routine and get those extra 5 minutes of sleep.  I see way too many girls wearing way too much makeup even for simple day time errands - but don't get me wrong, I love nothing more than polishing up myself for an event, but there is not enough focus for our skin to breathe in the day

Here I've compiled 5 simple reasons to go bare today!

1. Oxygen also helps to produce collagen and elastin, the two proteins that give our skin a firm, healthy, and youthful appearance. Let let your skin breathe baby!
2. Let your features frame your face, not makeup! Use castor oil to help eyebrows and eyelashes grow fuller and a lip balm (like paw paw ointment) for a natural sheen on lips and checks, which will double as a skin moisturiser, and help you glow naturally.
3. Learn to feel beautiful in your own skin - Everyone is freaking gorgeous, embrace those freckles & show of those rosy cheeks.
4. Many products these days are full of chemicals. So unless you purchase everything from Lush (which I seriously recommend), I can guarantee there are either paragons or carcinogens in your makeup which are only doing more harm than good.
5. Save time! Have a better sleep in the morning and let that be part of your beauty routine added with a splash of water to the face to help wake up the skin and reduce puffiness.

(Now, I realise ironically that the models in the mood board above, most likely are wearing makeup, but in order to have healthier skin, the less you wear makeup the less you NEED to wear makeup to cover up those blemishes - let them heal naturally)

Currently loving: ck One perfume (again), these vintage art deco rings & my crystal to take some pretty photographs with.

  1. I use YoungBlood and their products are amazing. Do some research on them and you'll find their products to be just as good if not better than going bare! Apart from that, I love this blog post :) xx
