Over the last few weeks I wrapped up some branding for an charity based brand, Hartwood House. The brand sell hand woven bags that are perfect for adventures, beach hopin' and shopping at the markets. Not only that but a part of the profit will be donated to @theorangutanproject and will contribute to buying back land, habitat protection and animal aid in Borneo.

Imperfect Perfect.
I've come to terms with the fact that I'm one of those creatives that actually gets anxiety when I can't create something perfect - or manifest the vision I have in my head for a design. Sometimes it just doesn't work out. I've realised by breaking a couple of my usual design principles it's helped me to ease up on the high expectation I place on myself. By layering, using different filters, not cleaning up edges properly and even using low res images has helped me to discover a new aesthetic.
Recently I've loved creating more raw and imperfect visuals and learning to appreciate the beauty in the flawed, unbalanced and busyness of these latest experiments.
I've also been experimenting with a new colour palette. In love with the combination of dusky pinks with teal, gunmetal grey, ecru and with a pop of fluorescent lavender.
